Address: Google 'South Australia Rocketry Club Blanchetown' or https://maps.app.goo.gl/t4THzPz5HTXCSe2k7
Current Maximum Ceiling: 7,000 feet (Applications for higher levels coming soon! If you want to launch higher, reach out; the more community support we have, the better!)
For those heading out of Adelaide, take the Sturt Highway (A20) heading northeast towards Blanchetown. The drive will take you through Gawler and Truro, then continue on the highway until you reach Blanchetown (about 2 hours from Adelaide).
After approximately 6–7 km, look for Murraylands Road (to the left). Turn onto Murraylands Road and continue along this road. After around 7–8 km you’ll come to a point near the coordinates. Start looking out for landmarks such as the irrigation channels and open farmland. Please drive slowly once you leave the sealed road, as the track can be dusty and there may be stock, wildlife, or equipment in the area.
Please refer to the map below to help guide you to the launch site. We are excited to see you there!
If you are having trouble finding your way on the day of a launch, please send a message to our social media (Facebook/Instagram).
