Welcome to the South Australian Rocketry Club

SARC was founded to give South Australian (SA) students and amateur rocketeers the opportunity to undertake launches. Currently, there is no suitable site in SA, and those wishing to undertake amateur launches have to drive at least eight hours to Victoria to participate in launches.

The SARC is a non-profit organisation and we are working to identify a suitable launch site near Adelaide. Once we have a site, launches are planned to be during daylight, monthly, in the non-fire season - approximately April to November but will vary from year to year.

We are a prefecture of the Tripoli Rocketry Association and operate under the Tripoli Safety Code.

Please note: While memberships on the site are open for sign-up, the club is not yet fully operational or ready for launch activities.
